Allianz’s award-winning Scholarship Programme, which actively supports brokers to achieve their CII Diploma in Insurance in 18 months, will open for Commercial and Personal Lines applicants on 19th January 2015.

Now in its fourth year, Allianz will recruit 50 new Scholars to join the programme and begin their studies in May. To be awarded a place, applicants must demonstrate a commitment to professionalism, plus a desire to develop their capability and progress their insurance careers.

Since launching the Scholarship Programme in 2012, Allianz has provided more than 120 brokers with first-class tuition and networking opportunities. They can also access an exclusive Alumni membership group which offers graduating scholars ongoing support towards their continuing professional development.

The Scholarship Programme builds on the success of the Allianz Partners Academy, a long-running training programme which welcomes more than 700 brokers to technical training and breakfast club events each year.

Jon Dye, CEO, Allianz Insurance, commented: “The broker Scholarship Programme has been incredibly successful over the past few years and continues to evolve to keep pace with industry needs. It has already supported many brokers to achieve a professional qualification which additionally supports their firms to achieve or maintain Chartered status.

“We remain committed to leading the industry professionalism agenda by continually investing in the personal development of Brokers. We look forward to welcoming many more talented scholars to our programme this year.”

To apply for a place on the Scholarship Programme and for more information, brokers can visit or contact their local account developer. The closing date for scholarship applications is 6th February.
